  4. Godello Sobre Lías Valdeorras

This wine is made entirely from Godello, sourced from 20-year old vines grown in slate and granite soils in the higher elevations at the limits of the Valdeorras DO. Following fermentation in stainless steel, the wine is aged on the lees—sobre lías—for three months to add a creamy richness to the final wine.

Tasting Notes

Luminous lemon-green in color, this wine entices the senses with notes of apples, kiwis, white flowers and hints of toast and biscuit. On the palate, this wine is fresh, supple and elegant—each sip makes you savor another.

Food Pairing

Its rich body and creamy texture make a brilliant match with creamy pastas, wild mushroom ravioli, roast chicken or stuffed salmon fillets.
