In September, hand-picked Grüner Veltliner grapes were selected from growers located in the Burgenland region. Fine bubbles were generated using the méthode traditionnelle and 9-15 months aging on the lees. The wine acquired a distinctive mousseux due to the use of yeasts indigenous to Champagne, France. The dosage was made with local sweet wine.

Tasting Notes

The Grüner Veltliner is delicate, yet complex, with a mellow citrus color.  It has an appealing peppery note, elegantly fresh fruit, and fine Mousseux with an invigorating finish.

Food Pairing

Pair with spiced crab cakes, arugula salad, or oysters.
