  4. Recit Roero Arneis DOCG

Native to the Roero, where it has been grown since the 16th century, Arneis is one of Piedmont's oldest white grape cultivars.  This particular bottling is called “ReCit” which means “little King” in the local dialect, and the Monchiero family believe that royalty is exactly what Arneis represents in the context of native Italian varieties.

Tasting Notes

Intense, engaging aromas of ripe peach, honeysuckle, and pear are rounded by hints of almond.  The palate is distinguished by long, well-balanced acidity and an opulent, creamy finish.

Food Pairing

An ideal match for fish and appetizers, it can also be recommended to be served as either an apéritif or with full flavored fish and pork dishes.
