Mylitta 2009

Dobogó

This wine is dedicated to Maria Zwack, the love and muse of Endre Ady, one of Hungary's most famous poets.  To this end, the wine is named Mylitta after the Assyrian goddess of love and fertility.  The wine is created from carefully selected botrytised grapes.  The clusters are gently pressed and macerated, after which the young wine is transferred to oak barrels where it is matured for eight months.

Tasting Notes

Intense golden yellow in color, the Mylitta is full-bodied with aromas of peaches, pears, oranges, and hints of vanilla.  The palate unfolds harmoniously with round body, a creamy texture, and a long finish.

Food Pairing

Mylitta is ideal with lighter desserts such as sorbet, mango mousse, butternut squash soup, or as a nice digestif to sip while reflecting on a delicious meal.
