Son Negre 2014

Ànima Negra

Son Negre is a dark, rich wine with an island soul. Made predominantly from a blend of Callet with a touch of MantonegreFogoneu, the wine is aged for 19 months in tightly grained French oak barrels. "Son Negre" means "Dark Place" because of the way in which the sun bakes the soil.

Tasting Notes

Dark ruby in color, with hints of purple, this wine offers aromas of violets, tobacco, black cherry, and black raspberry. Extremely rich, layered, and long on the finish.

Food Pairing

Drink this wine with hearty fare like grilled ribeye steaks, Solomillo Español, or beef negimaki.
